Jim took Saturday’s Swindle with a very impressive 39 points. Made all the more by apparently having a severe hangover from a curry night on Friday. Sean was also out with them all and seemed to shrug off a sore head coming in 4th with 34. Strongbow perhaps suffered more coming in with 26.
There was one unfortunate incident when a guest playing a few hours before the Swindle became ill on the 6th. Apparently CPR was administered for quite a while as ambulances and a helicopter attended. Mr Murtagh took the photo from the 16th green. Unsure how the patient is but fingers crossed of course.
Hole in one
The other news of the weekend was from our new guest Swindler Michael Sweetman who, playing off a club of 7 and Swindle of 5, aced the 7th who’s 6iron Jerry said “looked good all the way”. His 3rd ace I believe – congratulations.
Oh I never win… said Mr “Order of Merit longest drive, Swindle-funded lifestyle” Savill
Sunday was an unofficial Swindle with only 7 souls heading out – number low due to matches being played and the Sutton Green Mixed Friendly comp taking people (other post being published soon).
Al “I never win” came in top with 37 points and wasnt cut (nice), and we all enjoyed a decent round in warm sunshine.
