So off we headed at 7am, all a bit blurry eyed, but ok until we get to check in and I haven’t put on sports bags, doh, first bit of rumpus, sorry lads, my bad.
Arrive in Tenerife at about 12 and head straight for home, quick change and off to Las Americas where I have the same argument about my residency, pain in the arse at that club, anyway, we played as two threes, Simon came out with me and Jim and Graham, Sean and Brian played behind, off the tenth tee too.
All had a fairly decent round with Jim and myself winning the pairs and Sean winning the singles. Few beers after, out for dinner and to bed.
Next morning we are up at 7 and in cabs to Los Cristianos port to catch the 9.30 ferry. All a but bumpy and Jim not feeling too good, an hour later though we are in a cab for what I though was a short ride to the course, but it was an hour over a gigantic mountain! Long trip to play golf. Anyway, we sign in, the wind is howling at Hurricane speeds and we are up in the mountains. Off we went on the 10 minute ride to the first tee! A great course but a very tiring day, Brian winning with 26 points, probably the hardest round of golf we have ever played, a great experience though. Simon and Sean win the pairs. Off to the fish restaurant tonight. Earlyish night, Brian, Sean and myself had a Gentlemen’s convention until 1.30 on the terrace, we put everything right, honest we did.
Last days golf and my favourite course, Adeje which was in superb condition. Graham came out with Jim and myself and had ‘one of those days’ I’m afraid although his driving was amazing.
Simon wins the day with 34 points, and him and Sean win the pairs.
Simon also won the overall and him and Sean the overall pairs.
Back to La Caleta in the evening to the Dim Sum and an excellent meal we had, everyone was on their last legs though, two of them regularly dozing off.
Up and off for the boys the following morning, safe journey chaps, see you all soon.
