Swashies Ryder Cup Captaincy 2014/2015

8 August, 2014 by Hew 1 Comment

glovesA fresh assault on the Ryder Cup will be beginning soon in September/October.

After a thoroughly successful 2014 campaign for the whole Swindle, and after discussion between co-captains Mark and Mr Feez, Lee has expressed an interest in taking on the Ryder Cup captaincy this year.

We do like to make the odd nod to democracy and transparency from time to time, so would like to open up the ‘floor’ for other nominations or, if indeed, you’d like to take it on yourself.

I hope it involves nothing other than posting banter and usual tosh, but I’m happy to ‘mediate’ the process.  Please send any interest, issues, questions over to me.  If it gets exciting I’ll even unleash an online poll, complete with vote (non)rigging, kissing babies and lots of political backstabbing.  Exciting.   Email hew@fullscope.co.uk directly.

(Though I assume unlikely, if the Jerry-Atrics Originals have a similar handover to manage then of course please feel free to use the website to post redundant qualifications, paper-thin political promises and bribes).

The Originals already have their new skipper primed and ready to go, and sure that if anybody wants to get on the transfer list that would not be a problem just a question of how many !!!
