Spinning pitch shot… with “cheese on it”

Mentioned this in recent rounds, I was impressed how the Farleigh fellah in the league match was popping in low “grabbing” pitches into a couple of flags.  Bounce bounce grab.  A great shot.  Yes you need a decent spinning ball, clean grooves but the actual technique is one that I’d like to work on.

Discussed this with Scottie Yule the other week, and on the very next hole he put a pitch on the par5 12th to inches.  Cracking shot.
