Round2 Mail on Sunday Golf Classic – SN take a close win

11 March, 2013 by Hew 2 Comments

mail-on-sunday-classicOn a damp, foggy Saturday morning in early March, the next round of the Mail on Sunday knockout matchplay took place on the 9th March. Playing at home this round, we entertained the gents from Goal Farm, who play at an independent 9 hole par3 course near Pirbright.

In another close match played in an excellent atmosphere, Surrey National came out on top 3-2.

In a team which again happended to be made up of Swashbucklers, and in the face of somewhat agreesive team captain comments *cough* we all played a fair game with Jim coming in the big winner at the top of the card, with Hew and Lee taking their close games and Sean and Max not coming out on top this time.

Next round is to be played by 14th April, lets see who we draw.
