Before we go any further, enjoy the image sent over by Janine of Graham Devito and Grubbter Arnie.
After the deluge of rain that came down and wiped out the paths and bunkers, we had a a warm humid day on Saturday split with another severe downpour.
After a screw up with the tee times (nothing to do with Graham) that confused the Pistols and our lot, we all managed to head out. 2 fourballs and Al Savs and I playing a Nike matchplay against an Addington pairing.
Our match was close all the way till the few final holes. The Addington guys were a good laugh, always chipping away at us but played in great spirits. Al was solid throughout, and my 3putting aside on very slow greens, I wasnt far behind. We won 4&2 on the 16th just as the heavens opened.
With 8 in the Swindle (even Colin was in the tenners), Phil stormed the overall and front with 39points, Tony taking the back nine with 18.
