It’s here – the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles 2014

ryder-cup

At last the Ryder Cup is here.  Can’t wait – not least because all the paper-talk can end and the actual playing can begin!

Phil would be up there by now.  The lucky s8d is there for all 3days.  Jealous?  Just loads.

Wayne has organised a Ryder Cup day tomorrow (Friday).  Starting at 7am, we have a £20 upfront cost covering soss n’mash, and bets for the event.  Intention being we fire off the 1st and 17th in good time, to come in lunchtime or early afternoon and enjoy Day1 in the bar.

Fingers crossed the Americans can be put in their place… I reckon they are as driven and focused as they can be after the ‘miracle’ two years ago.  I can see it being close.  Its this event that actually has me cheering for Mr Poulter too!

Inter-Swindle Ryder Cup coming soon

Chaired by a certain Mr John Vicars, the Inter-Swindle Ryder Cup starts soon and the dates will be confirmed shortly so keep an eye out and those handicaps “competitive”.

Swashbucklers are led this year by Lee “All hail…” Feasey as Captain, Stevie “I’ll ‘ave a Magners with you mate, ta” McNally as Vice. Originals are led by the unmistakable figure of Mr Brian “He’s a Yeti you know” Chamberlain.
