We had a cold, bright weekend for the Stableford competitions. Some drizzle on Saturday soon went away but it was base layers on and woolly hats out for both days.
Mark cleaned up on Saturday in the Swindle continuing his good form. Must be all that practice swinging whilst waiting at the bar (lots of swinging and talking about his swing, just not much time spent at the bar though).

Mark and Jane presenting the gifts
Jim and Claud bought their new arrival to the club on Saturday afternoon. Mark, Strongbow and Jane all helped manage the collection with Jane taking the lead on the present selection!.
Boney’s had a ‘mare
Our Mr Bone didnt have a good one on Saturday. A lowly 9 points was duly returned.
I’m afraid we have a new lowest Swindle score posted as he was in both the Comp and the tenners. No longer can we say “just get 13points and beat poor auld Graham Adams score”, or “14 gets you past Bryan Hogben”… Nine points is now the target to beat. Boney has Mick to thank for sharing the news of his ‘indifferent’ round as our Mr Lossaso ensured it was recorded in MasterScoreBoard.
Sunday
Chilly again on Sunday when most of the Swindle played in the competition. Graham Adams grabbed 3rd place on Sunday with a very steady round of 36, pipped by Mr Gorman only on countback. Stu won overall with a very solid 39points, gross 1under and a cut down to 1.3. Well done Mass.
Thank you Swashbucklers…very generous of you. We were totally thrilled x
