Here are the times over the Christmas period that Graham has arranged with the club.
Firstly, these may slightly change (though very unlikely). Secondly, numbers over that week can range from light to oversubscribed for the times. Again, unlikely there will be an issue but if you are bringing 2+ guests along, consider emailing Graham out of courtesy or better, book an extra slot near the Swindle times.
But first…
Graham (Adams) organises the tee times off his own back for the benefit of everyone on the email list. So why not pat the old boy on the back next time you see him, and buy him a Carling. With any luck, he’ll be on his second pint and about to fall asleep anyway, but we all tend to take the tee booking for granted so on behalf of the Swindle a big thanks for putting the effort in Graham.
Thanks must also go to Sean, who’s picked up the Swindle handicap sheet from Bob this year, sending round updates after games so we can moan, laugh or cry accordingly. Again, another Swindle role often taken for granted, that it just happens, so again its another thanks to Sean for his time and patience. He will accept a small rosé, small red or a Guiness I’m sure.
We’ve had a few new faces join us this year and a few move away. Overall been a good Swindle year with numbers continuing to be healthy over weekends, successful tours and away days being enjoyed, more honours coming our way in terms of competitions and majors… plus the exciting news of another Swindler as Club Captain. We look forward to the new regime, I mean, year, ahead. Long live King Mark.
Finally, we’ve had a few folks poorly this year. We wish Dave, Jezzlar and Bobbie all the very best and hope to you see you all soon.
