As you will have seen from GeeAd’s Swindle emails, fourballs are now allowed on the course along with sensible distancing in and around the clubhouse. So the Swashies’ times are back on, in a pre-drawn format through Mr Adams.
On that, I hope all will join me thanking Graham for his work in both organising tee times and manually sorting out the 4balls. Speaking to the club and then juggling emails from a load of us must be a royal pain in the a*se. Let the old boy know he’s been doing a stirling job… I think bottles of Peroni are in fashion with him at the mo.
Keep your ears open… but the “Swindle bet” is probably not going to be around for a few more weeks – maybe until cash can be more freely used. For now the suggestion is that whilst the swindle bet is on hold, then of course any side-bets, or games for fivers/drinks can be arranged within groups to keep it “competitive”. We’ll see.
Course is still looking pretty good – greenkeepers still have a big job on their hands with the bunkers but the greens are great and its looking pretty presentable. They continue to do a great job perhaps without the raw manpower needed these days. Lets hope we avoid any of the showers this weekend.

Finally, Wednesday Whack is carrying on with Waynus again the helpful point-man for organising tee times.
If you want to play on Wednesday late afternoons, speak to Wayne – tee times are regularly booked mid-week during the summer, but how many and at which club can vary.
