Margaret bags a hole in one on the 7th
Pleased to announce that another of our ladies have managed a hole in one.
Hot on the heels of Indra's achievement in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago, on Saturday, in a match against Lorraine, Margaret bagged a hole in one on the 7th.
On asking if it proved expensive, Lorraine was pleased to report that a bottle of rosé went down very well thank ...

Scottie hits a Scratch Swindle Handicap
Huge congratulations to Mr Scottie Yule who after last weekend's impressive 34 points off of 1, now has the "honour" of playing off scratch in our fair Swindle.
Yes I do mean honour.
All the bleating some of us make over Swindle handicaps (ok ok, I do), is all a bit tongue-in-cheek. Whether we sometimes like to admit it, but the target well all ...

Match Report: Quarter finals in the mixed pairs
Posted on behalf of Mr Graham Loveless
Following a morning of 'fun' swindle golf and a quickly scoffed down lunch of Mediterranean pasta I was ready to team up again with the wonderful Carol Newman for our mixed pairs quarter-finals match. I was leading 2 up on the turn and stunk in a nice 15 feet birdie to go 3 ...

Club Championship 2014 – Day 2 play off thrilla!
Day two was a more overcast, cooler day.
The fun non-qualies competition went out at 7am from the 10th, to be won in the end by our own Wayne Nowak, who was complaining about his measly 38points (as usual!) in the clubhouse after. Congrats Waynetta. Having a few around for a BBQ and to see the qualifers come in was great.
We did have a couple ...

Club Championship 2014 – Day 1.. or “what about that **** pin on the 4th”
The big weekend came around at last, the Surrey National Club Championship.
Practice rounds were enjoyed, clubs cleaned (maybe not Brian Chamberlain's), dreams of victory no doubt floated around the club. Could everyone's game come good on the day... and then again the next day. The weekend saw pretty good weather, somewhat breezy and a bit ...
