A wonderful away day of golf and socialising took place at The Drift golf club on Friday 15 August, organised by Surrey National’s starlet Julie with able assistance from hubby Paul.
Coffee on arrival was followed by the golf, and then dinner. Swashbucklers were in attendance including Lee “The Machine” Snashers, Capt’n Sean with Tracey, Capt’n Mannering (Editor: possibly accompanied with breakfast on his jumper) plus she who has to be obeyed (Editor: Jan), Dennis “the Menace” Oh-Dee and his good wife.
Prizes were shared mainly throughout the Swashbucklers and a good laugh was had by all.
A generous prize was donated by Neil Barnes and a quick raffle arranged to increase the Chris Fund.
… and last but not least a big ‘thank you’ to Julie and Paul for arranging such a good day out.
